Punta Molara: south of Olbia, in the direction of San Teodoro, Punta Molara is one of the most important coastal stretches in the area. It is reached via the outskirts of the town where there is a beautiful viewing point overlooking the sea with its magnificent view of Tavolara island. The road leading to Punta Molara is particularly steep, but the view is worth the effort. From the top of Punta Molara you will enjoy a wonderful view ranging from most of the marine park to the mounts of Costa Smeralda and Mount Limbara.
Mount Ruiu and Mount Nieddu: inland from Budoni and San Teodoro offers the opportunity to enjoy horseback riding tours in which you get to know the wild areas of Mount Ruiu and Mount Nieddu and get in touch with nature. During the trip you can admire the old Gallura stazzi (typical rural dwellings), immersed in the Sardinian flora, the granite rocks as well as the natural waterfalls and a breath-taking view.
Punta Magghjòri peak (970 m. above sea level) is the perfect destination for trekking and mountain bike enthusiasts, especially in spring, accompanied by professional trekking guides. The tour will give you the opportunity to walk or ride across the canyon between Mount Ruiu and Mount Nieddu, reaching 750 meters, from which you can admire on the one side the coastlines of Tavolara, Molara, San Teodoro, Budoni and Posada and on the other side the valley of Ospola and Mount Ruiu and Nieddu.
