The Spiaggia Rosa (Pink Beach), is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site list. Located in the south/west side of the Budelli island, it is undoubtedly the most famous beach in the Archipelago. Its shape recalls a crescent and it is named after the colour of its sand, whose shades range from pale pink to fuchsia. Its particular colour is due both to the powdered granite the beach is composed of, and to countless fragments - mainly of seashells. Access to the beach is forbidden. There is a boat service – from Maddalena, Cannigione and Palau – from which you will have the opportunity to admire the beach. The boats can sail 300 meters from the shore but are not allowed to stop. The eastern coast of Budelli hosts a Multi Buoy Mooring (MBM) managed by the Park authority. Please take care when sailing here and pay particular attention to rocky outcrops.
