Santa Teresa di Gallura – Porto Liscia / Isola dei Gabbiani

The Liscia beach looks onto the Maddalena and Caprera archipelagos and the islands of Spargi, Spargiotto, Santo Stefano and Budelli.

Isola dei Gabbiani lies along the northeast coast of Sardinia, about 6 km from Palau.

It stands on an area of about 180,000 m², surrounded by the sea and joined to the mainland by a long isthmus of sandy land. Liscia, a beach eight kilometers long and with a surface area of 87 hectares, is the largest beach on the northeast coast. The sand is coarse, of granite origin, and golden in colour.

It provides clear water, and sandy, shallow beds. It looks onto the Maddalena and Caprera archipelagos and the islands of Spargi, Spargiotto, Santo Stefano and Budelli. It has several bathing and catering facilities. It is ideal for windsurfing due to the excellent exposure to northerly, mistral and westerly winds.
