This is the site of Cava Francese, one of the oldest granite quarries in Sardinia, a quiet mooring site.
Hidden among the rocks, it is one of the few bays on the west coast of La Maddalena, opposite the island of Spargi. It is a quiet mooring spot with good shelter from the 1st and 2nd quarter winds, except those from the west. The beach has crystal clear waters with a bed that is excellent for fishing.
